SpringCM Names Jonathan Leitner Senior Vice President of Business Development

CHICAGO, IL — (Marketwired) — 07/08/13 — SpringCM®, the leader in Content Cloud Services, today announced the appointment of Jonathan Leitner as senior vice president of Business Development, reporting to SpringCM CEO Christopher Junker. Jon, who joined SpringCM earlier this year, will lead the effort to significantly expand SpringCM-s partner ecosystem and third party revenue channels. A seasoned sales executive, Jon has extensive experience building and leading successful channel and sales organizations within fast-growing technology companies.

SpringCM continues to see strong customer adoption across a range of industries from organizations with a variety of content requirements. Enterprises and public agencies want to move away from old school enterprise apps and legacy content management systems such as SharePoint, OpenText, Documentum and FileNet. As a result, SpringCM is accelerating its business development efforts to further align itself with the leading technology providers and implementers to help organizations maximize their investments in newer cloud and mobile and fuel business performance by putting content to work.

To deliver on this strategy, Jon is focused on strengthening and building SpringCM-s partner network in 3 key areas:

Cloud system integrators (SIs) – to create and grow revenue generating partnerships that allow SIs to effectively sell, customize, implement and support SpringCM.

Strategic partners – to develop powerful business alliances that further establish SpringCM as the cloud content market leader.

Cloud Technology providers – to forge relationships that will augment SpringCM-s current offerings and deliver greater value to companies that are investing in robust cloud infrastructures.

Before joining SpringCM, Jon was chief sales and marketing officer for Fios, Inc., a pioneer and leader in Cloud Content electronic discovery, analysis and review. At Fios, Jon led the company-s direct and indirect sales channels. Prior to Fios, Jon served as regional vice president of sales at HP Autonomy and Interwoven, Inc., where he helped grow the company into a leading provider of enterprise content management (ECM) solutions.

“Throughout Jon-s career, he has been instrumental in accelerating revenue growth through his leadership and management,” said Christopher Junker, CEO of SpringCM. “Jon is helping us broaden our sales efforts, by building on existing partner relationships and developing new opportunities. In the short time Jon has been with SpringCM, we-ve seen great progress in expanding our channel to take advantage of the demand for SpringCM-s Content Cloud Services.”

“As the premier Content Cloud Services provider, SpringCM has built strong relationships with a number of cloud leaders, and the time is right for this program to grow significantly,” said Jon Leitner. “My team and I are laser-focused on working closely with existing partners, such as salesforce.com, DocuSign, Privia and Conga, and adding new partners to increase SpringCM-s channel. As cloud and mobile investments rapidly expand, enterprises have a wide range of content challenges, and we will partner with other industry leaders to provide SpringCM customers the best-in-class solutions.”

SpringCM Content Cloud Services transform the way people find, share, collaborate and work with content. SpringCM combines the ease of use of consumer-focused offerings with robust enterprise-class capabilities designed to put content to work. Unlike consumer Content Cloud Service offerings such as Dropbox and Box, SpringCM was architected for the enterprise from day one with rich security, mobile, sync and business process capabilities. While old school Enterprise Content Management systems such as SharePoint, Documentum and FileNet are expensive to maintain and challenging to use, SpringCM was designed to deliver the functionality of those systems — and more — without frustrating employees, customers and partners.

SpringCM is the leader in Content Cloud Services for the enterprise. Enterprises need to do more than store and share content — they need to put content to work to accelerate business outcomes. SpringCM helps global brands and public sector agencies — Google, Facebook and the Commonwealth of Virginia, among others — solve content-related problems that stand in the way of optimizing revenues, cutting costs, mitigating risk and engaging customers and employees.
