ALLENTOWN, PA — (Marketwired) — 07/24/13 — , the industry experts in complex hosting and a global provider of business-centric managed cloud and application hosting, announced today that Scott Walters has been named Director of Security, responsible for the Company-s Security Operations Center (SOC), compliance audits and certifications.
Walters joined INetU in 2007 and has been instrumental in shaping the Company-s client services department, which provides customer onboarding and lifecycle support. Under his tenure as director of client services, Walters expanded the department to meet customer needs as the company introduced new cloud products, enhanced service levels for enterprise customers and most recently released the robust INetU Security Suite.

In addition to being responsible for data and network security, Walters is tasked with scaling the SOC team to continue to keep INetU ahead of emerging information security trends. Walters and his team will oversee the Company-s numerous compliance audits and maintain certifications, such as SSAE 16, ISAE 3402, SOC 2, SOC 3 and PCI DSS, and work with INetU Labs in the development of new security products and services.

Prior to joining INetU, Walters consulted for Mack Trucks, a subsidiary of Volvo AB, and led an international security team for the Unix platform, establishing security systems, baselines and policies for all Unix systems that were used by the worldwide Volvo Group business units. In addition, he was selected by Volvo management to lead the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance of the Unix platform in North America. Walters holds a BA from Lehigh University, with Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) credentials.
