OSF Global Services Continue Re-Platforming Projects for L-Oreal Canada With Delivery of Shu Uemura

QUEBEC — (Marketwired) — 07/29/13 — IT professional services provider announced today the delivery of a redesigned and re-platformed webstore for brand . The maker of high-end cosmetics, hair products and beauty accessories is the second L-Oréal Canada brand to work with OSF for their migration to the robust, cloud-based Demandware® Commerce platform. The site offers a truly unique shopping experience thanks to responsive design, a custom make-up palette tool, and a redesigned user interface.

L-Oréal Canada turned to OSF after successfully completing projects for luxury skin-care brand , this time tackling all-new features and functionality for Shu Uemura-s webstore. Drawing on their experiences with Biotherm, OSF based the Shu Uemura site on the same core-cartridge, giving L-Oréal Canada a repeatable common structure to make future implementations quick and easy. This process allowed OSF to deliver the completed webstore in three months and on a smaller budget.

OSF-s extensive background of projects gave them the experience and technical ability necessary to deliver the webstore in such a small amount of time. “We excel at delivering solutions that provide consumers with a superior shopping experience,” said Gerard Szatvanyi, President and CEO of OSF Global Services. “Our previous success with L-Oréal Canada enabled us to be efficient and clear during all phases of the project.” The result is a feature-rich e-boutique designed to engage the consumer across multiple channels, encouraging them to make the best purchasing decision for their needs.

“The ECommerce market is booming in Canada. Consumers- shopping behavior online is constantly evolving. Having the right platform jointly with innovative partners is key to meet our consumers- expectations,” said Martin Aubut, Director, Interactive Marketing and ebusiness strategy at L-Oréal Canada. “OSF assists us with new technology and gives us the ability to deploy many brand sites in an efficient manner, making technology a driver for growth.”
