SAN FRANCISCO, CA — (Marketwired) — 07/30/13 — , the zooming presentation tool, has integrated and published a that shows how different countries are working together in Prezi. Additionally, the company released its Idea Economy survey results that reveal collaboration and creativity are the most important assets as businesses evolve in a global economy.

“We-re committed to eliminating the barriers to idea-sharing around the world,” says Prezi CEO and co-founder Peter Arvai. “The interactive map inspires us to work even harder to make idea sharing secure and easy from any location.”

Prezi collaboration enables up to 10 people to design and contribute to a presentation or up to 30 people to watch a presentation online at the same time. The interactive map is a real-time indicator of where Prezi collaboration sessions are taking place around the world. Prezi also developed a that shows three days of Prezi collaboration as people work on Prezis together around the world.

Prezi-s Idea Economy survey takes a pulse on Prezi users views on business trends related to the most valued qualities in the workforce. The findings show the evolving landscape towards the business community embracing collaboration and creativity over traditional work experience. As more leaders and businesses grow to embrace creativity and collaboration, Prezi continues to evolve its design to cultivate a collaborative space for sparking and sharing ideas. Key findings from the survey include:

Creativity vs. Experience: Creativity (42%) tops experience (20%) as the most valuable asset to businesses

Groups vs. Individualism: 97 percent of businesses say that groups are necessary to generate ideas

Real-time updates and collaboration is key: more than a quarter (27%) of employees find version control the biggest impediments to project success

The Rise of Design: in the last five years more than a quarter (28%) of Prezi users found their companies have dramatically increased their spending on design

Creativity is King: 37 percent think that creativity is more important than efficiency in determining the success of a project

Since the launch of the collaboration feature, Prezi has been monitoring how collaboration is happening all over the globe. Germany is the most collaborative country and works on the Prezi platform the most with France. Other countries collaborating the most on Prezi include Brazil, Chile, France, Peru and the United States.

Remote collaboration has become a necessity in the global economy. , a Nashville-based company with employees all over the globe has recently launched a musical instrument that combines iOS and hardwood and uses Prezi regularly to share ideas across the company. “Our team brainstorms and exchanges ideas everyday. We depend on real-time collaboration tools like Prezi to help us demonstrate our instrument to musicians and pitch to investors regardless of everyone-s location,” said Mike Butera, CEO and founder of Artiphon.

Artiphon has relied on remote collaboration at every stage of the company-s development — from conceiving the original idea to designing the product to architecting the investor pitch to developing the marketing plan.
