Springpad Appoints Jacqueline Hampton, Former VP at Time Inc., as CEO

BOSTON, MA — (Marketwired) — 08/13/13 — Springpad (), the personal assistant app that helps consumers simplify life, announced today that Jacqueline Hampton has joined the company as CEO and is a new member of Springpad-s Board of Directors.

Hampton brings to Springpad a strong background in strategy, operations and valuable hands-on experience working with a diverse group of digital consumer brands. Most recently, she was a Vice President of Corporate Development at , where she acquired domestic and international companies including , shopping recommendation engine , gaming site (UK) and Grupo Expansión, the premier publisher of consumer magazines in Mexico. She also oversaw Time-s investment on behalf of Sports Illustrated in , which was later sold to Yahoo, and the successful sale of a portfolio of 18 titles of and

Hampton holds an undergraduate degree from Duke University and a Masters in Business Administration from The University of Virginia Darden Graduate School of Business. She currently serves as an advisor to , a sports technology startup in Boston.
