Humber River Hospital Extends Data Protection With BridgeHead to MEDITECH SCA

WOBURN, MA — (Marketwired) — 08/20/13 — today announced that Toronto-s Humber River Hospital, one of Canada-s largest regional acute care hospitals and a long-time customer of BridgeHead, has deployed BridgeHead-s for MEDITECH Scanning and Archiving (SCA). By adding SCA to its existing HCIS and EMR backup, BridgeHead HDM has enabled Humber River to create a single, centrally managed and fully protected archive for all its MEDITECH application data.

At Humber River, MEDITECH SCA images are protected along with MEDITECH 6.0 data, using the integrated backup and archive capabilities provided by BridgeHead HDM. In addition, corporate enterprise servers are also protected, which eliminates the need for other backup software, along with the associated maintenance contracts and training.
