Appcelerator Appoints Executives With Technology Expertise From Good Technology, HP and EMC to Drive Demand for Mobile Enterprise Solutions

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA — (Marketwired) — 09/16/13 — ®, the leading mobile enterprise platform company, announced the appointment of three executives with deep enterprise technology expertise from Good Technology, HP, EMC and other leading technology companies. Appcelerator has appointed Steve Gross as vice president of strategic alliances, Nina Chang as vice president of legal, and Scott Davenport as vice president of sales engineering.

Vice president of strategic alliances, Steve Gross most recently worked as a strategic consultant for both startups and industry-leading technology companies. Previously, Gross was vice president of corporate and business development at Engine Yard, vice president of business development & alliances for IPG Enterprise Software at HP, vice president of corporate business development at Mercury Interactive, and vice president of business development at Asera.

Nina Chang has been promoted to vice president of legal affairs and senior counsel. Prior to joining Appcelerator in 2012, she was commercial law counsel at EMC, and held legal positions at TIBCO software and Siebel Systems. Chang received her J.D. from the University of San Francisco Law School and a B.A. from Boston University.

Vice president of sales engineering, Scott Davenport, joins Appcelerator from Good Technology where he began his career in sales engineering working with some of the largest companies in the world on their early mobility strategies. During his time at Good Technology, he built and led teams of sales engineers and solutions architects worldwide. Davenport began his career as at network designer and infrastructure analyst at SIGCOM. He received his B.S. in information systems and operations management from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro.
