The new data center is a Metro Ethernet facility, which gives Transbeam the ability to provide on-net Ethernet-over-Copper (EoC) and Transbeam Optical Network Service (TONS) fiber data services to customers in Eastern Pennsylvania and Northern Delaware, including the greater Philadelphia metropolitan area (also known as LATA 228). Transbeam-s Philadelphia data center will be able to deliver Transbeam-s network capabilities including MPLS, DIA, Private Lines and Point-to-Point circuits. All data circuits in the Philadelphia facility can be delivered through a network-to-network interface (NNI) to Transbeam-s wholesale customers.

The Philadelphia data center will offer Ethernet-over-Copper from 3 Mbps to 45 Mbps and TONS fiber services from 10 MB to 1GB and higher. In addition, Transbeam-s also offers a wide range of data, voice Internet services to serve businesses of all sizes including T1 and Bonded T1; DSL services, Hosted PBX and traditional voice, such as PRIs and SIP trunks.
