SACRAMENTO, CA — (Marketwired) — 10/24/13 — RagingWire Data Centers, the nation-s provider, announced today that has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Dougherty previously served as RagingWire-s Vice President of Information Technology (IT). In his expanded role, Dougherty will be responsible for software development, product management, IT engineering and architecture, and service delivery including RagingWire-s network operations centers.

Mr. Dougherty joined RagingWire in 2011. His team has been responsible for designing new , developing software monitoring and management systems, and providing technical support to RagingWire-s customer base. Under Dougherty-s leadership, RagingWire expanded the world-class data center infrastructure management (DCIM) system that integrates more than 20 applications and presents detailed power and security reports to customers via an interactive portal. Dougherty and team also introduced a portfolio of new data center services including network connectivity between RagingWire-s data center sites, fiber solutions between RagingWire-s Ashburn site and , and , a fully-managed, enterprise-grade service for data backup, replication, and recovery.

Prior to joining RagingWire in 2011, Dougherty was the director of site operations at online ticket marketplace StubHub, an eBay company, where he was responsible for global site operations. Before StubHub, Dougherty was vice president of operations at FusionStorm and held various IT operations and security roles at global automobile e-commerce firm Copart. He has nearly 20 years of experience in information technology and data center operations, including high performance computing, e-commerce operations, information security, and network operations management.
Mr. Dougherty holds a Master of Science in Information Technology from Capella University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Pepperdine University.
