eLink Distribution Opens First Foreign Branch in Vienna

eLink Distribution has opened its first foreign branch in Vienna at the end of May 2011. This enables the Hamburg-based specialist for telecommunications and presentation technology to approach the fast growing market in Austria. Local specialists and system vendors can benefit from short ways, work closer on sales projects and make use of professional services.

eLink Distribution is one of the leading distributors for presentation technology, videoconferencing and VoIP solutions in the German-speaking area. In order to better serve the growing demand in Austria, the company has recently opened its first foreign subsidiary in Vienna. “We exclusively distribute our technologies via our channel of professional specialists and system vendors. That is why it is important for us to closely assist our partners in the project business. The geographic proximity is a key advantage,” underlines Roman Klinke, managing director at eLink Distribution. “Particularly in Austria, the market development has been extremely well in the recent past so that the establishment of our branch in Vienna has been a logical consequence,” says Klinke. It is the company”s first subsidiary beyond the German border.

Service Advantage for the Austrian Channel
For Klinke, the new branch represents a signal for the local channel: “We see a clear and long-term perspective in the Austrian market. We therefore aim to improve the service for our partners through our Viennese branch. And at the same time we get closer to Eastern Europe.” For example, eLink partners can use the distributor”s demo room to convince their customers from the efficiency of new technologies of providers such as LifeSize, Sony, or Mirial. “Our strength is our broad range of different services offered to resellers. These include, among others, active customer acquisition, technical and sales support during the project phase or free demo devices. And our wide range of products supporting cloud-based videoconferencing or Unified Communication which comes on top,” emphasizes Klinke. The technical support offered to eLink partners is generally free of charge.
