The Software-QS-Tag 2013 continues online

You took notice of a certain tool category or a specific tool at the Software-QS-Tag? The online portal Testtool Review is the new focal point for everyone who wants to get informed on the international market of software testing tools. With just a few clicks you can find among a range of more than 180 tools exactly that one that is perfectly tailored for your individual requirements.
In addition to this, registered users can comment specific tools, ask questions and share usage experiences with the community. Manufacturers and distribution companies have the possibility to list their own tools and to maintain the tool profiles later on. All functions on the site are completely free of charge.
Another central pivotal point is the new group “Software-QS-Tag” on XING. Participants of this year’s conference as well as of those of the years before have the opportunity to post information on the tool landscape and to chat about the tools’ potential with the community. Any questions or comments on a particular lecture, workshop or tutorial? The speakers are glad to answer them. Moreover, in the group’s own download area speakers can consign links to additional presentation slides, technical articles or background material. General feedback on the event is welcome in the XING group, too.
By the way, the interactive topic collection for the key issue of the Software-QS-Tag 2014 has already begun in the group. Members can post their ideas in the panel “Call for Papers” till Sunday, 17th November 2013. After that, the community votes on the propositions and they are technically assessed by the programme committee. In the middle of December this year, the official conference theme will be proclaimed.
Participants who would like to read over the PowerPoint presentations afterwards click on the download centre on the Software-QS-Tag sites. With the login data which are sent to them via email they have access to the exclusive download area.
Everyone who wants to get some impressions of the Software-QS-Tag atmosphere should visit the sites of the IT blogger Maik Pfingsten. He visited both conference days – and he did not only capture the mood at the conference but also had an interview with imbus chairman Thomas Roßner. Their topic: Software tests. The German-language podcast will be soon available on Maik Pfingsten-s blog that is called “Zukunftsarchitekten”.
