SAN JOSE, CA — (Marketwired) — 12/05/13 — (), The System-on-Chip (SoC) Verification Company, has joined the Synopsys in-Sync program to build interoperability between TrekSoC, software to generate self-verifying C test cases to run on embedded processors, and two Synopsys product sets: Synopsys VCS® functional verification solution and Synopsys Discovery Verification IP (VIP) library.

TrekSoC automatically creates portable self-checking test cases for multi-threaded, multi-processor SoC devices to run in simulation under VCS. During simulation, TrekSoC then coordinates the test cases running in the processors with Discovery VIP testbench components on the SoC-s inputs and outputs. This combination helps SoC teams by replacing inefficient hand-written full-chip tests with automation capable of generating hundreds or thousands of tests from a single model.
