LOS GATOS, CA — (Marketwired) — 10/01/14 — Zepp and The First Tee have inked a new partnership under which the 3D swing technology of Zepp Golf will be available to coaches and chapters around the country. The First Tee helps shape the lives of young people by teaching values like integrity, respect, and perseverance through the game of golf. Together, The First Tee and Zepp are devoted to furthering the development and skills of young golfers nationwide.

The partnership will include Zepp Golf integrations at The First Tee–s Coach Trainings, the PLAYER Advanced Academy and relationships with individual chapters of The First Tee throughout the country. Zepp will also be designated as a Platinum Partner of The First Tee.

“One of our core missions at Zepp is to help athletes of all ages improve their game,” said Jason Fass, CEO of Zepp. “We–re excited to be partnering with The First Tee to bring our sensor technology and platform to millions of young golfers.”

Zepp–s advanced 3D swing technology helps golfers of all ages and skill levels improve their game. The tiny sensor easily attaches to the golf glove and captures over 1,000 points of data in each and every swing, creating a perfect 3D rendering on any smartphone or tablet. In addition to seeing their swing in 3D, players, coaches and parents get instant feedback and a wealth of actionable data including club speed, hand speed, instruction, and more.

“This partnership with Zepp will inspire The First Tee participants to learn more about their game,” said Chief Executive Officer, Joe Louis Barrow, Jr., “encouraging them to learn and grow over time.”
