Ub-y combines Orange–s data confidentiality expertise with Beam+ SPS technology to fulfill the need for shared awareness by embodying the user with an authentic presence for immersive communication. Beam+ is easy to install and automatically connects customers to the best available Wi-Fi or 4G network. Customers can operate the system through their Mac OSX or Windows computer. Beam+ includes two cameras — one for wide-angled views and one for dedicated navigation — a microphone array and speaker integrated into the display, and a battery life that supports two hours of continuous use.
