Epicor Recognized as the Number One Vendor of POS Software Among Top 200 Leading Specialty Soft Goods and Hard Goods Retailers for Fourth Consecutive Year, and Mobile POS Leader

According to the IHL study, Epicor is the leader in number of accounts and revenue share over other top POS vendors in IHL–s POS Software for Softgoods Retailers report. In IHL–s POS Software for Hardgoods Retailers report, Epicor leads in revenue share of the Top 200 hard goods retailers, retaining its first place position for a fourth consecutive year. The report evaluates vendors of POS software installed among the leading 200 retailers in hard goods segments such as DIY, consumer electronics, hardware and home center, pet and sporting goods stores, among others.

report, issued in early October, tracks the shipments, installed base, and forecast for the top 20 Mobile POS Software companies selling to large retailers and top 20 selling to small merchants. According to the report, Epicor leads in mobile POS market share among the enterprise retailers today.

IHL says mobile POS installs are expected to grow by 110% this year as more retailers replace electronic cash registers and POS terminals with mobile devices. And overall Mobile POS shipments will grow by over 325% by 2018.
