Williams Controls Announces Two New Indian Business Awards

PORTLAND, OR — (Marketwire) — 07/14/11 — Williams Controls (NASDAQ: WMCO) announced today that it has been awarded new production programs with two Indian commercial vehicle manufacturers for its Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) and Sensor products. These awards are for new vehicle platforms for the India market and will be supported from Williams- manufacturing facility in Pune, India. Shipments are expected to begin in 2013.

These awards continue Williams Controls- success in penetrating the light and heavy commercial vehicle market in India. Over the last 18 months, Williams has been awarded a number of new programs in the rapidly growing Indian market.
