bd4travel wins the Brand USA Marketing Innovation Award at this years Phocuswright Travel Innovation Summit

The travel industry research authority Phocuswright Inc. has announced the award winners of The Travel Innovation Summit on the Phocuswright Conference in Los Angeles, California, held from November 11th to 13th. Each year, 32 innovators are selected from 80 applicants to demonstrate ground-breaking applications and solutions that are set to change the travel industry. The winners represent the best of this elite group.

The event is presented and sponsored by Brand USA, the destination marketing organization of the United States. As a part of this role they award a prize for the best Marketing Innovation of 2014. Brand USA selected bd4travel (“Big Data for Travel”) for the Marketing Innovation Award due to the significant potential its technology has to promote the United States as a truly unique leisure travel destination to individual travellers.

Phocuswright commented: “The Germany-based start-up bd4travel provides IT services that enable travel companies to personalize offerings in real time. Through predictive analytics and carefully crafted algorithms, bd4travel allows travel portals to learn not only about their customers, but also about themselves and what differentiates them – in the eyes of the consumer – from the competition.”
