Cytegic Introduces Cybersecurity Maturity and Strategic Risk Management Technology to North American Markets

TEL AVIV, ISRAEL — (Marketwired) — 01/08/15 — Cytegic, a developer of next generation security analytics and cybersecurity intelligence solutions, today announced the North American launch of the company–s cybersecurity maturity and risk management product suite. Cytegic technology enables organizations to proactively prepare their defenses against emerging threats based on an automated review of security infrastructure and contextualized threat intelligence.

Today–s enterprise IT security departments uses a multitude of defensive technologies, such as perimeter security, IDS, SIEM, DLP, access management and others. With this large amount of different functioning technologies in place it has become extremely difficult for organizations to monitor these systems with a unified view, creating a lack of visibility into the organization–s cyber-security maturity.

Cytegic is the first cybersecurity management platform designed for an executive audience, as it translates complex cyber-readiness indicators into intuitive dashboards and reports that provide board-level understanding of organizational preparedness and the business impact of potential threats.

“For an organization, Cybersecurity Maturity is analysis of all defense technologies based on the degree to which a defensive control complies with industry good-practices,” said Shay Zandani, Cytegic CEO. “If there are no automated processes in place, CISOs are left to relay on external auditors or conduct their own assessments on the massive amount of criteria and control types. Cytegic solves this problem with our automated insight technology and decision support tools for CISOs.”

The three product suite includes:

(DyTA) is a cutting-edge intelligence processing product designed to collect any type of digital information, analyze it, and forecast future occurrences based on past attack patterns, providing decision-makers a clear understanding of the threats they are facing and likely to face in the near future. The technology is used by Cytegic–s Cyber Intelligence Analytics Center (CIAC) team to produce and distribute regular intelligence updates to customers.

(CyMA) is an intelligence system which collects and analyzes security controls information with a unified dashboard view. CyMA addresses the critical need of monitoring and presenting the status of security controls to decision makers by automatically collecting and displaying the various systems status. The software continuously assess an organization–s security maturity and reports on places where immediate remedy is required. CyMA can function as a stand-alone module and can be easily integrated to the complete Cytegic system.

(CDSS) is a BI decision support module for cybersecurity managers, which fuses technical indicators, intelligence trends and security systems monitoring. Collecting both internal inputs and external indicators, the systems uses a risk analysis engine and simulation engines to conduct “what if” scenarios to determine optimal resource allocation for risk mitigation per asset. This presents an up-to-date reflection of the organizations cyber risk status and determines its readiness pertaining to specific, relevant threats.

With analysis from the Cytegic suite, the software enables organizations to proactively optimize their defenses, prioritizing remediation toward areas of greatest risk.

The Cytegic suite of security products is available immediately. Prices start at $5,000 per business environment.

Cytegic will be presenting its products at the 2014 RSA conference in San Francisco, April 20-24, 2015.
