Cell Phone Inventor Martin Cooper & Henning Schulzrinne, Co-Author of SIP, Lead Star Studded Roster at This Year-s IIT Real-Time Communications Conference & Expo

WHEATON, IL — (Marketwire) — 07/20/11 — announced today that its Real-Time Communications Conference (RTC) and Expo, the conference where industry and academia connect, will take place on October 4-6, 2011 on their campus in Wheaton, IL. In its seventh year, the , formerly known as the IIT VoIP conference, brings together technical professionals and executives from standards bodies, government agencies, and the data, web telecommunications and business communities.

Martin Cooper, inventor of the cell phone and former EVP of Motorola, will provide the conference keynote on the evolution of the cellular phone industry as he sees it. Henning Schulzrinne, Professor and Chair in the and the at and co-author of SIP, will also keynote on: Will the Last Phone User Please Turn Off the Dial Tone?
