BELLEVUE, WA — (Marketwire) — 07/20/11 — BSQUARE Corporation (NASDAQ: BSQR), a leading enabler of smart, connected devices, today announced that it reached agreement with Adobe® to be a Certification Partner. This expands the Adobe licensing, testing and engineering support services that BSQUARE, an Adobe Scaling Partner since 2007, provides for its customers. Previously, BSQUARE and its customers have submitted devices to Adobe for Certification. As a Certification Partner, BSQUARE will provide Adobe Certification directly. BSQUARE already supports OEMs shipping devices with Adobe products with porting, testing, optimization and cross-platform and user interface (UI) development services.

This marks a significant change in the process for Adobe product certifications, which, until now, have been managed exclusively through Adobe. Adobe Device Certification is required of any OEM that wants to add an Adobe product such as Adobe Flash® Player, Adobe AIR®, or Adobe Reader Mobile® to devices prior to shipment. BSQUARE has already assisted hundreds of customers through the Adobe testing, optimization and certification process. By managing the certification process in-house for its customers, BSQUARE will be able to save OEMs both time and money by reducing the time-to-market for Adobe products.
