Tech Wildcatters Launches the “Corporate Innovation Network” With Nation–s Top Brands

DALLAS, TX — (Marketwired) — 01/20/15 — (TW) announced the first members of the Corporate Innovation Network today. This exclusive network was created to connect the early adopters of corporate America to the most cutting edge B2B technology startups. , , , the , and are the first five of ten corporations accepted in this inaugural group.

said “these corporations were chosen based on their commitment to innovation through collaboration with the startup community. Companies like 7-Eleven have proven their commitment in the past by partnering with Tech Wildcatters graduates Koupon Media and YooLotto. We want to encourage more of that type of value creation.”

As the first program of its kind, this network will bridge the gap between corporations and startups whose products are solving modern day problems. Members are able to present their biggest challenges to startups, who in turn accelerate the process of product market fit. All members commit to beta testing the product of at least one startup in TW–s portfolio annually.

“Since the inception of TW as the first B2B startup accelerator, we–ve had amazing support from the corporate community. Our long-time sponsors American Airlines, Softlayer an IBM company, Silicon Valley Bank, Trinet, Amazon and Roberts Foster have been instrumental in supporting our startups. They have encouraged the interest of newer sponsors such as ModoPayments and Software Assurance and have generally helped us create buzz. This network is a natural progression,” says Clarisa Lindenmeyer, VP of Corporate Relations.

“We get approached often by startups and companies looking to work with us,” says Brad Alberts, Chief Revenue Officer of the Dallas Stars. “It–s nearly impossible to understand all the products they–re offering, much less if they–re a quality company to work with. This program is a perfect way for us to sift through the clutter and work with early stage companies with little to no risk.”

TW created the network in response to the many requests from corporations to better connect and understand startups. The Corporate Innovation Network gives members access to the newest products and solutions, without the risk.

Tech Wildcatters is the world–s only B2B seed accelerator on the Forbes Top 10 and ranked #8 in the US according to Inc. and TechCrunch. This mentor-driven program focuses on high-growth, technology startups. TW is committed to growing the innovation community by connecting entrepreneurs with the resources they need. What makes Tech Wildcatters unique is the focus on customer and market development, and not just funding. We turn people into entrepreneurs and startups into companies. In 2015, TW will have funded 68 companies, helped create over 250 jobs and has 4 exits. Applications for the 7th class close January 23rd. Startups can apply
