AnubisNetworks and Europol–s European Cybercrime Centre Sign Memorandum of Understanding to Fight International Malware Threats

LISBON, PORTUGAL — (Marketwired) — 02/03/15 — AnubisNetworks, a subsidiary of Security Ratings company , today announced a signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Europol–s European Cybercrime Centre (EC3) to strengthen cooperation and combat the global threat of cybercrime. The MoU enhances the exchange of expertise, statistics and other strategic information between AnubisNetworks and EC3, heightening security efforts with increased collaboration and communication.

The fight against cybercrime requires cooperation between law enforcement and private industries. This MoU illustrates an important step for public-private security partnerships, which will prove beneficial in operations like botnet takedowns.

The AnubisNetworks Cyberfeed takes an innovative and holistic approach to threat intelligence by focusing on mapping malware campaign, method and propagation vectors. AnubisNetworks has a history of working with law enforcement agencies, as featured by its work with the FBI on Operation Tovar, a mission that sought to dismantle the Gameover ZeuS botnet.
