TACOMA, WA — (Marketwired) — 04/14/15 — , the source for clear cyberthreat intelligence, today announced , provider of the most comprehensive real-time data highlighting the global cyberthreat landscape, will be contributing to IID–s big data solution for Internet security — . ThreatWave–s threat intelligence gathered through its expansive email data sensor network will be available as premium data to ActiveTrust customers — meaning it will be viewable in the ActiveTrust dashboard and can be input into any organization–s cybersecurity infrastructure as easily as IID–s own data.

“Providing threat intelligence from ThreatWave–s email sensor network into one of the world–s largest commercial cyberthreat data exchanges in ActiveTrust will ultimately make the Internet safer,” said ThreatWave CEO Tom Bartel. “We–re excited to be able to support so many companies and government agencies with the ability to input our threat data directly into their security infrastructure via ActiveTrust.”

ThreatWave will contribute real-time data feeds into ActiveTrust about threat indicators that can be used to identify phishing, malware, brand exploitations, spam, fraud and more. “ThreatWave–s unique approach has unlocked a major new source of threat intelligence capturing a broader set of email borne threats than spam traps or honeypots. This data gives a new edge to the companies and government agencies that leverage ActiveTrust every day to combat cyberthreats,” said IID founder and CTO, Rod Rasmussen. “The addition of three data partners over the past month that deliver such diverse and impactful intelligence into ActiveTrust is powerful for our customers.”
