Palerra Enhances LORIC for Microsoft Office 365 With Advanced Cross-Cloud Correlation

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — (Marketwired) — 04/21/15 — , the cloud security automation company, announced today that it has enhanced its LORIC for suite of cloud security services by adding powerful cross-cloud correlation and expanded the number of Office 365 applications supported by LORIC.

Strengthening its relationship with Microsoft, Palerra was selected to participate in a pre-release program for partners to build the first solutions using the new Office 365 Activity Feed API, which Microsoft announced today at RSA. In doing so, Palerra has enriched its already market leading LORIC for cloud security service. LORIC enables enterprises to safeguard sensitive corporate data stored within the Office 365 cloud.

“By partnering with Microsoft as a member of their Office 365 Activity Feed API Preview Program, Palerra was able to embrace these cutting edge APIs before they were officially released to the general public,” said Ganesh Kirti, co-founder and CTO of Palerra. “This gave Palerra a head start in integrating these new APIs with our own newly enhanced threat correlation engine, resulting in the ability to detect cross-cloud threats, such as data exfiltration. This has enabled Palerra to deliver massively sought after security intelligence for Microsoft–s vastly deployed and market leading suite of cloud services.”

The LORIC platform provides threat visibility and ensures compliance of an organization–s entire cloud footprint by combining threat detection, predictive analytics, security configuration management, and automated incident response into a single solution. LORIC monitors enterprise cloud applications from industry-leading companies, such as Microsoft, and promotes the security of these services through a single pane of glass.

“The new Office 365 Management Activity API enables partners such as Palerra to build solutions that provide Office 365 customers with full visibility into all actions taken on the customer–s content within Office 365, and combine it with threat intelligence inherent in their platforms in powerful ways,” said Nagesh Pabbisetty, partner group program manager, Office 365 Information Protection at Microsoft. “We are excited to see Palerra extend LORIC to Office 365. It is a win-win-win for Office 365, Palerra and our customers.”

Palerra, Inc. designed LORIC to protect an enterprise–s entire cloud footprint from branded applications such as Microsoft Office 365 to infrastructure such as AWS, and everything in between. It combines security configuration management, threat detection, predictive analytics, and automated incident response into a single platform, delivering comprehensive visibility and ensuring continuous compliance. It does so without any hardware or software, and unlike cloud access control solutions, is not inline to critical online activities. Palerra is a privately held company funded by Norwest Venture Partners, Wing Venture Capital and August Capital and is headquartered in Santa Clara, Calif. For more information, visit .
