Sigma Systems Wins Global Telecoms Business Innovation Award

TORONTO, ON — (Marketwired) — 05/14/15 — , the pioneer in idea-to-install software, today announced that it has jointly won the Global Telecoms Business (GTB) Innovation award for a successful implementation with its customer, Sky and partners Deloitte and Salesforce. GTB is a leading European publication that covers the telecom industry and the GTB awards recognize some of the most innovative work being done around the world and projects that involve a telecom operator and partners, working together.

Sky–s key objectives were to shrink its product launch times and provide an enhanced omni-channel experience for its customers. To do that it needed a catalog-driven product management system that expresses the complex rules and restraints required in the telecom industry coupled with a modern CPQ system to support all of its channels. The winning solution combines Sigma Catalog and CPQ products with the Force.com platform. This combination allows the sales department to target offers with personalization capabilities while allowing the Marketing Department to manage complex product bundles, vouchers and discounting.

“This award is important to Sigma,” said Rick Mallon VP, Marketing and Alliances at Sigma Systems. “It is a testament to the teams at Sky, Sigma, Salesforce and Deloitte and the group–s ability to work towards a common goal. We are honored to share in this success and be recognized by GTB.”

Deloitte has published a paper on the project which is available from the Sigma website at
