AtHoc Awarded 2-Year Sustainment Deal to Support the U.S. Army

SAN MATEO, CA — (Marketwired) — 05/21/15 — ., the leader in networked crisis communication, today announced that the United States Army has extended the sustainment support of AtHoc IWSAlerts for unified emergency mass notifications to installations across the U.S. Army for an additional two years, to July 2017.

As part of the Emergency Management Modernization Program managed by LEIDOS, AtHoc partners to provide communication and accountability sized for nearly one million members of the military and their families across the world.

Specifically, AtHoc–s network alert system, telephone alert system, and mobile notifier will continue to be used exclusively as an Enterprise capability extended to U.S. Army Garrisons, demonstrating its continuing confidence in the AtHoc capability. Text messages, phone calls, emails, push notifications, and alerts on mobile devices along with desktop and laptop computers will continue to be used to provide recipients with emergency notification of all hazard incidents and crisis communications information.
