HSINCHU, TAIWAN — (Marketwired) — 05/27/15 — today announced that its has won the Best Choice Award at Computex 2015 — the fifth consecutive year PROMISE has been recognized with this prestigious honor for excellence in the storage industry. Pegasus2 R2+ is a Thunderbolt 2 hardware RAID 0/1 storage solution with USB 3.0 that includes two hot-swappable hard disk drives and a media bay with an optional HDD Pod, SSD Reader Pod, and CF/SD Reader Pod for convenient data exchange. Pegasus2 R2+ was honored with the Best Choice Award for its innovative design which combines a sophisticated 2-Bay hard drive enclosure with portable Pods which offers impressive versatility, convenience, capacity and speed. This year at Computex over 450 products competed for the Best Choice Awards, which are held by the Taipei Computer Association and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council, including 40 in the storage category with only five winners selected.

Pegasus2 R2+ offers photographers and videographers affordable Thunderbolt 2 hardware RAID 0/1 storage with USB 3.0. Pegasus2 R2+ provides 6TB of capacity on 2 hot-swappable 3.5″ HDDs and features a media bay with Pods for convenient media exchange. It ships with a CF/SD Reader Pod and users can select the optional 1TB HDD Pod or SSD Reader Pod. Each Pod comes with USB 3.0 Micro-B for independent access, which provides users with the flexibility to leave their editing station and grab a Pod to work elsewhere. Pegasus2 R2+ will be available starting in June through the PROMISE global network of distributors and value added resellers.
