Razorleaf Acquires Office2PDM From Extensible CAD

STOW, OH — (Marketwire) — 08/01/11 — Razorleaf, a leading consulting service provider for engineering and manufacturing tools, today announced the acquisition of the Office2PDM and EPDM Dashboard products from Extensible CAD Technologies of Apex, NC. Office2PDM offers a seamless integration between Microsoft Office products and SolidWorks Enterprise PDM (EPDM). EPDM Dashboard provides real-time access to Enterprise PDM vaults, right from Microsoft Outlook, for monitoring the status of documents and workflows.

“We-re thrilled to be adding Office2PDM and EPDM Dashboard to our portfolio of tools for EPDM — it complements our ongoing goal of extending PDM and PLM tools to fill gaps and add value,” said Eric Doubell, president and owner of Razorleaf.”Office2PDM has been a great product from day one, and we-re excited to further extend its reach within the EPDM community.”

Razorleaf intends to further extend and enhance Office2PDM and EPDM Dashboard, as the company continues to deliver on its promise of making PLM tools work better for its clients. Office2PDM and EPDM Dashboard are SolidWorks Partner Products, offering the highest level of integration for access to the Enterprise PDM system. The transition from Extensible CAD to Razorleaf should be transparent to existing customers, and a net benefit given Razorleaf-s long history with Enterprise PDM and its predecessor, Conisio.

“This transition just makes a lot of sense to us,” said Jeff Cope, president and owner of Extensible CAD Technologies. “We can focus on the incredible growth and adoption of our InspectionXpert product line, while one of the leading EPDM consultants in North America — Razorleaf — can drive the future success of Office2PDM. Our relationships with the people at Razorleaf go back a long time, and the product is in great hands.”

Office2PDM and EPDM Dashboard are available immediately for download from Razorleaf-s website and for purchase from authorized resellers. Office2PDM and EPDM Dashboard are compatible with the following software versions:

Enterprise PDM 2009, 2010, and 2011

Microsoft Excel 2003, 2007, and 2010

Microsoft Outlook 2003, 2007, and 2010

Microsoft PowerPoint 2003, 2007, and 2010

Microsoft Word 2003, 2007, and 2010
