As part of the partnership, Cayan will offer CardFlight–s SwipeSimple product as its preferred mobile POS solution for merchants looking to accept credit and chip card payments from smartphones and tablets.
Launched in 2014, SwipeSimple–s technology features encrypted EMV-ready mobile card readers, payment acceptance applications for iOS and Android devices, real-time reporting and admin dashboards for merchants, and a reseller portal for easy onboarding and portfolio management. Cayan will process SwipeSimple transactions leveraging CardFlight–s PCI-DSS Level 1 Compliant payment gateway.
Beginning October 1, merchants in the United States who had not upgraded their point of sale systems to accept EMV transactions became liable for counterfeit card fraud occurring at their stores due to the inability to accept EMV chip card payments. By partnering with CardFlight, Cayan merchants can use encrypted mobile card readers that accept both chip cards and traditional magnetic stripe credit cards on both iOS and Android mobile devices via CardFlight–s SwipeSimple software. This partnership offers Cayan merchants the peace of mind that they will not be vulnerable to the potentially devastating costs associated with fraudulent charges via magnetic stripe cards.
