Pocket Games launched Idol Hands in early 2015 and has been updating the game regularly since then, increasing its foot-hold in the –God-Game– Genre since launch. With the recent incorporation of Indian Operations, head of Studio Druhin Mukherjee has conceived a development strategy that will see the game made available on such platforms as Xbox Live, PlayStation Network , Google Play and Apple–s AppStore with the Apple Mac Version going live in time for the high revenue Christmas period. This should prove a great testing ground for this multi-platform strategy.
The digital delivery ability of games published to these platforms makes the cost to enter relatively small and means a potential multi-million-dollar upside for Idol Hands as the development of the title is largely already paid for, leaving these platforms as incredibly profitable ventures for the Company.
Since its launch in early 2015, the title has been a Premium PC downloadable game and has seen critical acclaim in its genre.
