Tintri Lands Tony Chang as Executive Vice President of Engineering to Continue to Push the Boundaries of VM-Aware Storage

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA — (Marketwired) — 11/12/15 — , a leading producer of VM-Aware storage (VAS) for virtualization and cloud environments, today announced that Tony Chang has joined Tintri as Executive Vice President of Engineering. As a seasoned product executive with extensive experience leading large product teams in public companies as well as scaling product operations in fast growing startups, Tony will lead Tintri–s engineering team to create VM-aware storage products that save the time, money and sanity of virtualized enterprises and cloud service providers.

Chang joins Tintri after spending almost eight years with NetApp in an engineering leadership role. Most recently, he led the ONTAP group managing over 1600 people worldwide. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Engineering at LogLogic (acquired by Tibco), which pioneered log management and intelligence-driven big data solutions, compliance reporting and IT security operations. He also held the position of Senior Vice President of Product Development at Foundstone, which was acquired by McAfee.
