China Unicom and Jasper Introduce End-to-End Connected Car Telematics Services Provider

BEIJING, CHINA and SANTA CLARA, CA — (Marketwired) — 12/17/15 — China Unicom, one of the world–s largest mobile network operators, and , a global Internet of Things (IoT) platform leader, today announced the launch of China Unicom Smart Connection (CUSC), an end-to-end service and operations provider for the connected car market. CUSC enables auto manufacturers to quickly and cost-effectively enter the Chinese connected car market via a single service provider, and is built upon the China Unicom Control Center IoT platform from Jasper.

CUSC is available today, and the combination of China Unicom–s high-performance mobile network and Jasper–s IoT service platform form the basis of a new Telematics Service Provider (TSP) which enables rapid time-to-market for auto manufacturers through a flexible, turnkey solution.
