Magnum Energy Solutions and Future Lighting Solutions Announce Global Distribution Partnership at Light + Building 2016

HUDSON, OH — (Marketwired) — 03/13/16 — Magnum Energy Solutions (MES), a leading provider of innovative wireless technology, and Future Lighting Solutions (FLS), a leading provider of solid-state lighting technologies, today announced a global distribution partnership.

Through this agreement FLS, a division of Future Electronics, will market, promote and distribute Magnum–s comprehensive wireless lighting control products worldwide. The official launch of this partnership will take place at Light & Building in Frankfurt Germany March 13-18th where FLS will exhibit Magnum–s OPUS line of lighting controls in Hall 4.2, Stand K38.

“We are delighted to partner with Magnum Energy Solutions worldwide. The breadth of their portfolio will enable us to continue to enhance our ability to support our customers with complete lighting solutions,” said Jamie Singerman, Corporate Vice-President Worldwide, Future Lighting Solutions.

Given Future–s long-standing relationships with lighting OEMs, the cornerstone of this partnership will emphasize Magnum–s new OPUS line of fixture-integrated lighting control products. Magnum–s OPUS fixture “nodes” enable individual fixture control for both high bay and low bay luminaires, covering DALI, PWM and 0-10V dim-to-off compatibility.

Magnum uniquely integrates significant intelligence at the device level, enabling advanced daylighting and control strategies in a completely standalone environment. Other popular solution providers rely on expensive and cumbersome software platforms to create smart, connected lighting platforms. Instead Magnum provides customers with AirConfig, a remote commissioning and configuration tool for users to assign devices, enable intelligent functionality, and access a variety of features.

For customers that want additional software for connection to mobile phones, Magnum offers a free software package. For users that recognize the benefit of BACnet integration, Future also distributes Magnum–s cost effective eBox gateway, which translates incoming wireless transmissions seamlessly into BACnet IP objects.

“We are very excited about the partnership with Future,” comments Mike Giorgi, CEO of Magnum, “We recognized the substantial advantages in partnering with a with a large semiconductor distributor. Future Lighting Solutions is already strongly positioned with a host of lighting OEMs and we also valued how their team is uniquely poised on the forefront of wireless technologies. We see this strategic partnership as beneficial to reach a global audience of manufacturers to enable smart, energy efficient lighting products.

Attendees of Light & Building interested in learning more about Magnum OPUS are invited to toast the launch of this exciting partnership by visiting the Future Lighting Solutions Stand K38 in Hall 4.2 on Tuesday, March 15th between 4 and 6pm (16.00 to 18.00 local time) where champagne and appetizers will be served.
