With Varnish Plus, CacheFly has gained operational efficiencies and maintained its 100 percent service level commitment to customers, many of whom have massive caches in excess of 100TB.
Although CacheFly had considered the open source Varnish Cache, its storage engine was insufficient to support the CacheFly workload. Varnish Plus and its Massive Storage Engine, however, delivered what CacheFly required. In addition, CacheFly is taking advantage of Varnish Configuration Language (VCL) to quickly respond to customer demand for new features.
