SpeedCast wins new contract in the Middle East from major oilfield service provider

SpeedCast expands oilfield service provider network connections to multiple sites in UAE and Oman

Dubai, UAE, 19th May 2016 – SpeedCast International Limited (ASX: SDA), a leading global satellite communications and network service provider, today announced that it has been awarded a contract to provide one of the most prestigious global oilfield service companies in the world (‘Customer’) with a fully managed network service for ten sites in the UAE and Oman, as an expansion to current services in other regions.

Keith Johnson, Senior Vice President & General Manager – Energy, SpeedCast, said: “Managed services create significant value for our customers as SpeedCast delivers end-to-end service managing and controls all aspects of the network as well as the complexity of the local licensing and regulatory requirements.
