InHealth Selects ServiceNow and TeamUltra to modernise the patient experience

• Healthcare provider to replace legacy ITSM system with cloud-based ServiceNow offering

Berkshire, ENGLAND, 8th June, 2016: TeamUltra (www.teamultra.net) today announced that InHealth, the healthcare solutions provider, has selected the ServiceNow ITSM system. Implementation for the legacy replacement project is the UK’s oldest ServiceNow Partner, TeamUltra. The ServiceNow Service Management suite will automate service processes to support the IT and Mobile Planning Teams, which will help modernise the patient experience.

InHealth Group provides expert diagnostics and healthcare solutions for over 900,000 NHS and private patients throughout the UK and Ireland each year. It previously used a legacy ITSM system but recognised that the Group would significantly benefit from moving to a more up to date and agile solution. Following a detailed selection and tendering process, InHealth selected the cloud-based ServiceNow system.

Andy Knight, Head of IT Services, InHealth Group said, “We were aware that Gartner had named ServiceNow as a leader in ITSM systems but we were also impressed with ServiceNow’s core ITSM capabilities. By replacing our legacy ITSM system, we have substantial scope to improve operational flexibility and agility. ServiceNow will help us to spend less time on managing our IT infrastructure and free up time for our dedicated health professionals to provide a modern healthcare service. Additionally, the advanced reporting facilities available within ServiceNow will give us greater visibility and control over our operation.”

Mike Beale, Managing Director of TeamUltra said, “Healthcare organisations need to reduce IT emergencies with a solution that consolidates systems, automates repetitive tasks and provides an easy to use friendly interface. This is an essential ingredient in supporting our business to deliver accurate and timely services to patients. By moving away from a legacy ITSM system to one architected for and hosted in the cloud, InHealth will achieve sustainable business benefits.”

Andy Knight, concluded, “It was also important that we worked with a ServiceNow implementation partner with prior experience of the healthcare sector and with a provider that could understand the complexity of our business. TeamUltra covered all aspects of our requirements in that respect.”

InHealth is also planning to roll out ServiceNow Orchestration to automate IT operations, and plans are also underway to utilise ServiceNow HR Service Management to support HR case management throughout the business.

TeamUltra will be exhibiting at the SITS exhibition on 8 and 9 June at Olympia. TeamUltra will be offering SITS delegates the opportunity to claim one of twenty complementary ServiceNow support packages or a two day Service Management assessment. Additionally, delegates can enter a draw to win a replica 1966 World Cup winning shirt, hand signed by all 10 surviving members of Sir Alf Ramsay’s team, click here http://www.teamultra.net/2016/06/the-itsm-show-7-8-june-2016-pre-register-to-receive-your-vip-invitation/ for more details.
