Thousands of Job-Seeking Women to Receive Free Unlimited Wi-Fi Access

REDWOOD SHORES, CA — (Marketwired) — 06/20/16 — There are many things that keep women from (re)entering the workforce, and access to technology is one of the main hurdles. Over the course of the next year, 3,000 Bottomless Closet clients, who are transitioning into the workforce, will receive three months of free iPass service. Once activated, the service will provide each user with complimentary, unlimited access to iPass– global network of more than 53 million hotspots across more than 120 countries, including 31 million in the U.S., allowing them to remain connected wherever they are.

The iPass alliance with Bottomless Closet was launched to mark the first-ever World Wi-Fi Day, announced earlier this year by the as part of an initiative to expand wireless internet connectivity across both the developed and under-developed world. The Wireless Broadband Alliance, the preeminent organization driving the adoption of wireless broadband, is urging cities, government agencies, fixed and mobile operators, technology vendors, internet companies and service providers, as well as retailers, to collaborate on June 20 and beyond in an effort to deliver connectivity to people in all corners of the globe.
