Lieberman Software Adds Native Cloud Authentication, Automated Linux Security, and New System and Account Discovery Engine for Privileged Access Management

LOS ANGELES, CA — (Marketwired) — 07/14/16 — Lieberman Software Corporation today announced new capabilities to extend the security and management of privileged credentials for the widest range of devices and platforms in the enterprise — both on premises and in the cloud.

With the recent release of (ERPM) v5.5.0, Lieberman Software offers a new way to control third party access through the cloud, advances the security of the Linux enterprise to counter the increasing cyber attacks on the Linux platform, and extends the ability to discover IT assets throughout the enterprise to ensure rapid and automated security and auditing controls over critical systems.

“ERPM now provides even more automated security, less surface area for cyber attacks, a better overall security posture and increased IT operational efficiency,” said Jonathan Sander, VP of Product Strategy at Lieberman Software. “Lieberman Software has always led the Privileged Access Management market in automated discovery capabilities and the broadest range of platform support. Now, we–re reaching deeper and further into the IT landscape than ever before.”

EPM 5.5.0 offers the following new features:

– ERPM leverages Azure AD and SalesForce.com for authentication when third parties need access to sensitive systems. Customers can grant access to the accounts that their third party providers already have in the cloud. Their own provisioning then ensures that access remains current and secure. When a contractor or partner leaves the third party company, their Active Directory account is shut down, and access to ERPM is immediately terminated. This prevents persistent access to critical systems and applications.

– ERPM can now find more IT assets in more ways, and automatically bring them under management. The new version expands the types of devices that can be discovered from network level scans. ERPM discovery targets now include Windows, Linux/UNIX, Cisco IOS, SQL Server instances, Oracle instances, IPMI and Xerox Phaser Printers.

ERPM can scan the network, identify Linux systems, and begin managing them. It automatically finds accounts, SSH key pairs, sudo policies and more, and then continuously rotates their credentials to keep them secure. ERPM also offers SUDO policy reporting to show exactly which policies are being enforced on any host.

– ERPM 5.5.0 adds more capabilities to deliver security to the diversifying IT infrastructure. It now supports the latest APIs and interfaces for managing VMWare infrastructure security. ERPM also added new platforms to the extensive list of systems the product protects, including Xerox Printers and Postgres Databases.

Lieberman Software will discuss and demo the latest technology in ERPM during a live webinar open to customers, partners and the general public. The webinar is scheduled for Tuesday, July 19 at 8am Eastern Time (US), 2pm Eastern Time (US) and 8pm Eastern Time (US).
