Skyscape Cloud Services Relaunches As UKCloud

New name for high growth cloud services company coincides with impending launch of latest G-Cloud iteration, G-Cloud 8

London – August 1, 2016 – Skyscape Cloud Services Limited, the easy to adopt, easy to use and easy to leave assured cloud services company, has today renamed and relaunched as UKCloud Ltd (www.ukcloud.com), to reinforce the company’s exclusive focus on supporting the UK public sector in the digital transformation of services.

In terms of number of employees, the company has grown more than ten-fold in four years, with expectations to double its headcount by the end of 2016. UKCloud has also received widespread industry recognition to date, recently winning the Communications category of the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA Award.

Committed to continually evolving its platform, UKCloud recently became the first cloud services provider to offer OpenStack compatible services exclusively for the UK public sector and is the first cloud provider focused on the UK public sector to offer a platform based on Oracle technology. It is also set to announce further support options in the coming months.
