The NFC Reader/Writer is suitable for wall mounting or desktop use and characterized by easy installation, stable performance and is the ideal solution for industrial control system and related Internet-of-Things applications. The device comes with USB and Ethernet Interface and with one antenna port. The SMA antenna port provides an output power of up to 500mW. Depending on transponder size reading distances of up to 20cm can be achieved. LEDs visualize the operating modes like detection of RFID transponders. The integrated digital input and output can be used to connect external devices such as motion sensors, light stacks and audible alarms.
Using either the NFC-programmer software or the sttID STX/ETX commands information such as contacts, URL-information, bluetooth pairing and various other information can be stored to a NFC – enabled tag in a comfortable way. These NFC transponders can be read and used by other NFC enabled devices (e.g. Smartphones or Tablets). If NFC is activated at the Smartphone and a NFC tag comes near to the phone, the content is automatically read.
