Air4G in 5.15-6.45 GHz extends Airspan-s regional offering which previously consisted primarily of 802.16d fixed WiMAX equipment. Airspan customers will now benefit from a comprehensive solution for building cutting edge 4G networks in areas traditionally dominated by dated pre-WiMAX equipment.
Air4G is a high-powered, macro cell 4G base station that offers a very high level of functionality such as advanced Quality of Service (QoS), highest range and capacity, and sophisticated antenna technologies such as adaptive MIMO for improved link budget. The uniqueness of Air4G is in the ability to integrate both 4G 802.16e WiMAX and 4G TD-. The new Air4G product operates in the full 5.15-6.45 GHz spectrum.
