Updates to zero client and thin client models were announced today:

Since its launch in May 2010, Wyse Xenith, the zero client built for Citrix, has been the industry-s best-selling HDX compatible zero client. Both models leverage the updated Wyse Zero engine, providing a best-in-class zero client experience including:

New Citrix Receiver for Wyse Xenith: Wyse is the first vendor to bring ICA 13 features to a zero client, including ICA UDP audio, optimized media flow control for enhanced HD video, and more granular control of devices plugged into the zero client-s USB ports.

Foreign language support: A new robust localization framework allows customers to easily set the user experience to the desired language.

Better control and support for “work from home” and other off-campus scenarios: Wyse Xenith and Wyse Xenith Pro now support deployments outside of the corporate infrastructure with support for the Citrix Access Gateway and learning and securely retaining desired configuration even when away from the corporate LAN.

Wyse ThinOS, the company-s best-selling management-free thin client firmware platform, has also been updated to leverage the latest Wyse Zero engine. In addition to the functionality mentioned above, Wyse ThinOS-based thin clients provide a flexible, optimized solution for customers leveraging Citrix HDX 13 and Microsoft RDP 7.1.
