Named the “Best Young Tech Entrepreneur” in 2009 by Businessweek, Chesky is the founder and current CEO of Airbnb, an online service that matches people looking for vacation rentals and other short-term accommodations with those with rooms to rent. As it dove into the world of self-monitoring online marketplaces, Airbnb has changed the way people look at ownership and ruffled some feathers along the way. Despite recent controversy, Airbnb experienced rapid growth and currently has more than 100,000 listings in 16,000 cities and 186 countries.
