Procera Awarded $3 Million Follow-On Order by Tier-1 US MSO to Support Network Expansion

FREMONT, CA — (Marketwire) — 11/14/11 — , Inc. (“Procera”) (NYSE Amex: PKT), the intelligent policy enforcement company, today announced a $3 million follow-on order from a Tier-1 US MSO.

“This follow-on order represents an expanded deployment of Procera-s PacketLogic solution set across more geographies for this service provider,” said Cam Cullen, Vice President of Global Marketing at Procera. “Early use of Procera-s new PacketLogic Report Studio analytics and business intelligence software is helping this provider with advanced service planning as they expand.”

“One area in particular that this customer has been monitoring is Netflix and video streaming, and they are now actively managing capacity and capabilities with the information provided via PacketLogic Report Studio,” said David Ahee, Procera-s Vice President of Sales Americas.

“Procera-s granular, business-ready intelligence reporting is critical to the operator-s service planning and introduction of new service offerings,” Ahee continued. “Their ability to extract detailed business intelligence, to run a variety of scenarios to design, and to deliver new pricing models and offerings with assurance and confidence is a growing necessity and something of a -holy grail- for the industry.”

The customer is also beginning an IPv6 deployment, for which Procera is providing new analytics and data feeds into existing security solutions to save the operator on CAPEX for new IPv6-capable solutions in existing routers.

“The ability to rapidly produce custom reports that provide data and guidance on which to base traffic engineering and congestion management decisions is very powerful for our customers,” added Cullen. “We see growing demand for IPv6 intelligence and adoption from existing and new users as they look to take an even more proactive approach to network management.”

Availability of Procera-s new PacketLogic Report Studio was publicly announced today, and is included at no additional charge with the package.
