J&J performed a thorough technical evaluation of Edgewater Wireless- multi-channel access points, including deploying multiple units in a very challenging outdoor environment. J&J found that Edgewater Wireless- technology, which is designed to address the fast-growing problem of oversubscribed data communications needs by providing substantially increased bandwidth density, prevailed over its competitors despite a crowded radio frequency environment.

The Edgewater Wireless EAP3000 family of products is designed for indoor and outdoor applications and supports up to six unique and independent channels, each of which can be divided into four Virtual Access Points (VAPs) for a total of 24 independently configurable VAPs per AP, delivering the flexibility and performance that meets the requirements of the WISP, Hotspot, Municipal WiFi and Telecommunications Carrier solution providers.
