serVonic IXI-UMS and Route-by-Redirection – Sparing with Call Numbers

This makes sense for companies, which want spare assigned call numbers. Advantage with “Route-by-Redirection“: In the PBX, only one number is set up globally as “drop number”. When the user leaves his workstation, an incoming call is automatically redirected to the central voice box number. IXI-UMS recognizes the redirecting number (call number of the user) and can play the voice box announcement deposited for this user. The recorded message is delivered to the inbox of the respective user as usual. “Route-by-Redirection” can also be combined with other routing methods like e.g. via “Calling Party Number”.

IXI-UMS from serVonic is unified messaging software that adds features like Fax, Voice, SMS and remote inquiry by mobile phone or telephone to existing IT-environments. IXI-UMS usually integrates into messaging systems such as Microsoft Exchange or IBM Lotus Domino. Due to the flexible Connector architecture, an installation is also possible in mixed environments – messaging-, ERP- or CRM-system – without any problems. A high scalability of the solution allows the flexible deployment in environments of 10 up to several 10.000 users. The Olching-based software manufacturer with its specially developed concepts is able to satisfy also complex requirements in terms of high availability and security.
