Splunk Opens Bethesda, Md. Office to Better Serve Federal Government Customers

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — (Marketwire) — 12/07/11 — , the leading provider of software that provides real-time operational intelligence, today announced the expansion of the company-s Washington, D.C. Metro presence with a new office located at 7700 Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda, Md. This is Splunk-s fifth office in the U.S. The 10,000-square foot office will enable Splunk to continue to support existing government customers in their efforts to comply with evolving federal standards and marks the growth of the company-s footprint in the federal market.

Next month, Splunk will open the Splunk Center of Excellence at the Bethesda office, a hands-on cybersecurity and analytics lab that will also feature a training center. The Splunk Center of Excellence will serve as the foundation for Splunk-s federal government business practice.
