This new rating is in addition to EnviroGuard-s UL Listed spill containment systems for lead acid battery systems in the United States.

The UL Certification Category Code for the new Canadian mark is VMXB7 and requires that spill containment systems used in and similar locations provide a reliable means of containment for hazardous-material liquids in the event of electrolyte leakage from stationary lead-acid or similar battery systems.
