Germany has become the most recent country to receive direct threats of terrorist attacks via the Internet from Islamist terrorists. With the German Federal election to take place soon in September, experts fear a terrorist attack by al Qaeda in Germany this year, similar to the attack on four commuter trains in Madrid in 2004.
