Viator Launches Portuguese Language Website

SAN FRANCISCO, CA and LONDON — (Marketwire) — 02/23/12 — Viator, Inc., the leading resource for more than 9,000 tours and activities in 800-plus destinations in more than 150 countries, today announced the debut of a new local-language site — Portuguese — at . This latest addition to the Viator portfolio of local-language sites brings the total to nine, with sites successfully operating in French, German and Spanish since 2009; Danish, Dutch, Norwegian and Swedish since 2010; and Japanese since early 2011.

Portuguese is the official language of Brazil, the fifth most populous country in the world with more than 192 million residents, approximately 40 percent of which are internet users.

Many of Viator-s most popular tours are now offered with a Portuguese-language option.
